Production Process of Hammer Drill Bits (1)
Everyone, grab your bench and sit down, ready to share with you about the production process of electric hammer drill bits. This valuable information may make you feel boring. You can click here to watch a video and relax before reading the full article.
The first step in producing a qualified electric hammer drill bit is to cut off the incoming material of the electric hammer drill bit. The factory will use a cutting equipment to automatically cut off the long round steel material. The operation process of this step needs to pay attention to the remaining material that is finally cut off, and the pushing distance needs to be in place to avoid wastage of materials.
After cutting the material, the factory will chamfer the end face of the cut material. In this step, we will use a small CNC machine to chamfer the flat end face at a large angle. After chamfering, the third step requires controlling the total length of the drill bit, reducing and chamfering the shank, and using a hydraulic chuck. CNC turning chamfering and clamping shanks are also required to ensure the total length and outer diameter of the drill bit. size. If the coaxiality of the material itself is too poor, the cutting amount between the cutting tool and the spindle will be inconsistent, causing the workpiece to be thrown out and hit the machine.
The fourth step is to CNC mill the drill bit. Use a CNC small milling machine to process the round material and process the spiral groove on the surface of the drill bit. What needs to be paid attention to in this step is the wear of the tool, the depth and width of the groove, and the smoothness of the drill surface.
The fifth step is to chamfer the end face of the drill bit and open the cutting edge. In this step, the factory will use an integrated drill end opening machine to inject four bevel angles on the drill bit, and then cut out a slot in the shape of the drill bit. What needs to be paid attention to in this step is the width of the cross cutter head and the control of the center position of the groove.
The above are the five steps in the production process of electric hammer drill bits. We will explain the remaining ten steps in subsequent articles. Stay tuned!
